The Shelton Inn and Wedding Venue

My wife and I chose the Historic Shelton because of the outdoor setting it provided. We didn't want to get married inside of the church and instead opted for the outdoor location near their man-made pond and waterfall. It has a natural feel and look to it and that was what we liked best about it. Greg was wonderful to work with. He took every step to do his best to make our wedding as special as it could be. He was accommodating, friendly, and above all, extremely personable. I really liked working with him. He was very responsive when we needed anything explained, answered, or confirmed. All in all, we had a great wedding and we all had fun. Now don't get me wrong, this is no $10,000 venue, so don't expect an elite, Donald Trump-like experience here. This venue is perfect for those whom wish to keep their expenses low and still be treated like you are the only people who matter. At least, that's how Greg treated us. I would highly recommend working with Greg to help you host a great wedding at a great price. We know we got a good value for our money.

I absolutely loved staying at the Historic Shelton. There’s just a magic to this old building. I stayed in The Prospect Room. The room was charming and very clean. Beautiful picture perfect large window seat. Jetted tub. The breakfast was hands down 5 stars. Gourmet breakfast with all the right touches. The area is breathtakingly beautiful. I’m a lifestyle/fashion blogger out of Seattle and was able to capture beautiful fashion photos on the property. I highly recommended The Historic Shelton. I look forward to coming back to stay again. Thank you.

What a great experience we had with Greg and Janet at the Historic Shelton! Everything came together for us just the way we envisioned. We only had six weeks to organize and plan our wedding and reception and we couldn’t have done it without these guys. The Historic Shelton is a beautiful building with arched windows and many staircases. Our guests, especially the children, enjoyed the hidden passage that leads to the tower. The food was great and plentiful, and the facility was decorated remarkably well- from the stairs and archway to the tables and centerpieces. Flowers at the Falls was included in the Shelton package for a great price. The bridal party bouquets and corsages turned out just as discussed with Janet. Greg and Janet were professional and friendly and ensured every detail was addressed leading up to and during the event. They understood and anticipated our needs. We highly recommend them for any wedding/reception.

This venue is absolutely wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about the owners and their staff! They were accommodating and super helpful! They will give you the best wedding experience and make it as least stressful as possible. Beautiful inside and out! They helped make my daughter’s day as beautiful and least chaotic as possible. The outside area is so beautiful with mature trees that are great for pictures and the yard area is in pristine condition! They went out of their way to make us happy and have a wonderful time! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a space for any event!

We had an amazing time! Per reading old reviews I can assure you the new owners are wonderful and want you to have a beautiful experience :) If you are looking for a beautiful and magical place to stay I will totally recommend the Shelton Castle. It had the best breakfast and cleanest room. The room had towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. This was super convenient because we did not have any of this amenities. The entire house has so much history! Lesly and her husband were very kind and took the time to speak to us.

This place is amazing! We got to experience their romantic dinner in the tower and it was one of the best dining experiences ever. The service was phenomenal. The food tasted great and there was so much food. They took care of everything we needed. Really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They exceeded all my expectations of what I thought this experience was going to be. They offer airbnb rooms and do wedding venues as well. Really nice place with a great history to it. I definitely recommend this place you have to experience the dinner in the tower at least once in your life.

We recently had a Wedding at the Shelton Inn. They were very accommodating. We were able to rent tables and chairs from them also which was very helpful. We also was very surprised by getting Wedding coordinators for the big day. Kymble & Thomas Veech @veechpeachplanning was amazing to work with. They thought of things that we didn't. They also had a tent and lights that we were able to rent from them. When it was all said and done, they had a memorable reel from the day, which was a great gift, because being part of the wedding, I didn't get any pictures of my own. The bride & groom got a dream wedding and more!! I highly recommend using the Shelton Inn as a venue.
